𓉩 EQUIPMENT 101

Aircrete Equipment:
What you need to
build.

The most important factors to success lie in your planning and education. This guide exists to help you learn what Domegaia resources you have available to you.

After hundreds of prototyping hours, the right tools, we came up with a system.

In 2015, our founder, Hajjar Gibran, saw that Aircrete equipment was being used commercially in Europe and Asia, however, the equipment was massive, expensive, and hard to find.

With the help of his son, Joel Haggar, and Steve Areen, they scaled the equipment into affordable tools that anyone can use.

Before we look at each tool, we must see how they all work together inside the Domegaia Aircrete Building System. Then we will go into the specifics of each tool.

The Aircrete Building System

To get a better idea of how everything works together. Let's start by taking a look at the entire Aircrete Building System. When everything is set up, this system produces as many batches of aircrete as you need for your building project.

Bringing it all together...

1. THE AIR COMPRESSOR

Creates the air needed to create the bubble in the foam

2. FOAMING AGENT BUCKET

This contains the soap and water to supply the foam with foaming agent.

THESE BOTH CONNECT TO…

3. THE FOAM GENERATOR

This allows the air pressure to regulated to allow the right amount of into the

foaming agent, and pumps this foam into the mixer.

4. THE FOAM INJECTOR MIXER

As the foam is pumped into the mixer, the wand attachment will allow you to at first measure your foam weight. Then after you have the perfect weight of foam you will attach the wand and begin mixing.

5. MIXING BUCKET

The mixer will now mix and inject foam into the mixing bucket that contains the 94 lb bag of cement and water.

POURS INTO…

6. FORMS

These forms can be adjusted to 4”, 6” or 12” blocks.

The blocks will cure for 24 hours at a minimum.

Now that you can see how all of the equipment works together inside of the Domegaia Aircrete Building System (in the section above).

Specific Aircrete Tools

Air Compressor

This is a typical 3 cubic foot per minute air compressor.

Foam Generator

Foam Generators - The foam generator is an expensive pump that allows you to calibrate for the amount of air entering into the mixer. This allows you to make the right weight of foam to create strong Aircrete blocks.

For high volume Aircrete making

For smaller batches of Aircrete

Foam Injection Mixer

The mixer plays a part in mixing foam into Portland cement to create Aircrete and it also plays a role in mixing foam into mortar to make mortar (Mort'air'), which is the insulated mortar that acts as the glue between Aircrete blocks.

Bender

This is Domegaia device doesn't get a lot of attention but it is so handy when you are building round archways or windows. It takes simple EMT piping and bends it into any diameter you need. It requires a a 1/2" drill to pull the piping into itself to create a smooth bend.
