Lodging Options

There is an array of on-site lodging options available, including private and shared options, and room for camping! 

***If you decide to stay off-site, it is important to take into consideration the daily transportation costs from your lodging to Sumer Farms.

Meal Plan Options

The meal plan will consist of mostly farm to table, hearty and nutritious whole foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner with omnivore and vegetarian/vegan options


 *You do not have to stay on-site to take advantage of this meal plan, any and all are welcome! 

Transportation Options 

Sumer Farms has a private driver that can bring you to and from San Juan to the property for $60 each way. If there is a group of 5 or more we can help arrange a shuttle (price to be determined based on how many people).

Ciales, nestled in the central mountains range of Puerto Rico, offers breathtaking views, a great climate year round, and an abundance of outdoor activities to enjoy. Located in the geographic center of the island, Ciales has much to offer including world class rock climbing, beautiful rivers and exotic cave systems, waterfalls and swimming holes, natural springs, and more. Although Ciales is a picturesque mountain landscape, there are also great beaches a half hour away.

What you can expect, hear from past students:

Cancellation Policy

  • Those cancelling more than 4 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop will receive a full tuition refund, minus a 7% processing and administration fee.
  • Those cancelling 2 - 4 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop will receive a half tuition refund, minus a 7% processing and administration fee.
  • No refunds for cancellation requests made less than 2 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop
  • If the workshop has to be cancelled for any reason, you will receive an immediate full refund.
